Va. House of Burgesses

Second Continental Congress

Colonial Williamsburg Reenactment

Tuesday & Wednesday
May 23 & 24, 2006

Paladin will be recreating not only George Washington's participation in the Virginia House of Burgesses, but also his selection by the Second Continental Congress to lead the as-yet unformed American Continental Army.

About Paladin

We are producers of When the Forest Ran Red & George Washington's First War, the first and best French & Indian War documentaries out there today. We make only award winners. For the past six years, we have worked closely with the reenacting community, the world's foremost Colonial American historians, and outstanding organizations like Mount Vernon, Colonial Williamsburg, the Smithsonian Institution, and others, to create entertaining and accurate history for students and the general public.

Our Current Challenge

Paladin is about to wrap up production of our biggest and best feature documentary, Gentleman Warrior: George Washington. To give this documentary an epic feel, we are staging a spectacular reenactment of Braddock's Defeat at Raccoon Creek State Park in Western pennsylvania. Ten days later we are traveling to Williamsburg for two days of shooting in the Capitol Building as well as the Wren Building at the College of William & Mary.
