Saturday, June 16

900am-730pm      Open Camp

900am-730pm On-going workshops conducted throughout the day by Paul Stillman that include Quill Pen Fabrication, Turkey Wingbone Call Fabrication, and Powder Horn Fabrication. Fees include $5.00 per person for pens and turkey calls, and $10.00 for horns. Located near the Moss Training Center.

915am-1015am       French Creek Encounter:  French Diplomacy in the Ohio River Valley (Fur Trade Scenario) – located at the confluence of French Creek and Deer Creek.

1030am-1115am     Blacksmithing Demonstration – conducted by Dennis Murray, story-teller (liar) and blacksmith near the main camp.

1130am-1200pm    Treachery on the Trail – live tactical engagement in the woods adjacent to the Moss Training Center.

1230pm-130pm      The History of the Indian Graveyard (Chief Guyasuta is claimed to be buried there) and the History of Custaloga Town by Bill Philson from the Mercer County Historical Society - located at the Indian graveyard. Bring a lawn chair.

145pm-215pm        Native American Children's Games – conducted by Carol Fortunato near the Moss Training Center.

300pm-330pm        Living History Tactical Engagement – located at the encampment field.

330pm-400pm        Cannon & Musket Firing Demonstration – located at the encampment field.

400pm-500pm        French & Indian War Era Art Demonstration – meet with distinguished painters & artists such as Andrew Knez, Michael Taylor, and Larry Smail at the Moss Training Center.

400pm-500pm        18th Century Surgical Techniques – conducted by Jack Mathay, surgeon, in the Moss Training Center.

400pm-530pm        Colonial History Symposium – located at the Indian Graveyard. Bring a lawn chair. Dr. David Dixon: "A High Wind Rising – New Light on George Washington at Fort Necessity." Dr. Daniel Barr: "The Delaware in the French and Indian War." Benjamin Scarf: "Irregular Warfare in the French and Indian War." Dr. Kevin Kopper: "The Greenbriar Raid – The Virginia Frontier in the French and Indian War."

600pm-700pm        Ben Franklin and his Glass Armonica by Paul Stillman located near the Moss Training Center.

830pm-900pm        Private Dusk Tactical.

915pm-930pm      Nighttime Cannon Firing.
